I was working on whatever it is I was working on when my husband switched the channel to something and started watching it. Because my "office" is in our living room, I kept hearing bits of dialogue and would look over my shoulder to see what was happening. That was my first introduction to The Walking Dead.
I finally turned off the computer and sat down to watch the marathon on A&E. I had missed Seasons 1 and 2, but I would be damned if I'd miss anymore. I am now a bonafide, true blue Walking Dead fan.
This is from Tumblr. I'm not sure who made it, but I love it! |
Yeah, I'm that woman! I have this huge crush on the redneck with heart. Hey, don't judge me! LOL I will even admit to sort of liking Merle at this point. I keep hoping he loves his little brother, but I'm afraid I will be wrong.
Now the season is winding down and each week I sit on the edge of my seat, begging for an ending that doesn't leave me hanging until next season. Hell, I watch the black and white episodes just to feed my addiction each week.
Yes, I'm a Walking Dead junkie. If I'm not careful, I'll turn into one of the despised walkers as I wait for the next season to start.

This is going to sound bad but none. The tv is usually controlled by either the hubby or the kids and I watch whatever is on or more often I read or work. It seems ages since I actually sat down to watch something that wasn't a core text for school, I'm not sure I would even know what to watch any more.
ReplyDeleteI'm on a Food Hospital and Face Off kick. They aren't necessarily the type of shows that most people would think of to get hooked on, but I am. Both are very interesting.
ReplyDeleteNo, it doesn't sound bad. I have 1 show that I watch without my hubby. I DVR it every week and watch by myself. The other shows are ones we watch together. I've watched more tv this week than I have in a long time. It soothes my fried brain;)
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Food Hospital, but Face Off is a cool show. I usually catch it On Demand. Duck Dynasty is my guilty pleasure. It is so silly, but I laugh until my sides hurt.
